I received an email from Agloco today saying that they are not able to continue with its operation. Even though there are increases in membership, but the revenue generated is not enough to support the operating costs. Hence the decision to cease operation was made.

I admit that this program sounds promising that it prompts me to sign up after clicking the referal link from John Chow’s blog. But after installing the Viewbar and tried it out for few days, I decided to drop it as I could not see its potential. The Viewbar took up 1/10 of my monitor space which I am not happy about it.

Besides that, Agloco’s promise of members earning shares in the company sounds unrealistic… in fact, to good to be true. A lot of websites were created by Agloco members with sole intention of recruiting more members which will earn them a bigger shares in the ‘company’.

Even if Agloco did take off, I would still drop them. It is just not my cup of tea… i prefer CPM/CPC based programs

As a development team we are unable to continue to use our savings to fund the operations.
