When it comes to Apple, rumors seem to cling on to it like wild pests! Every time I try not to lend my ears to the rumors that are even remotely related to Apple, I end up breaking my own promise! Apple created a great hype prior to the launch of their iconic iPhone and helped to stir up frenzy among the gadget lovers. It has been almost a year since the launch of the iPhone 3GS and the market is again rife with the rumor of the iPhone 4G.
Well, if we were to go with the rumors then May is the month for the launch of iPhone 4G phone. There are many websites that are publishing the launch of the new enhanced and powerful iPhone 4G from Apple. Discussion forums are filled with speculative comments about the enhanced features that one can expect to see in this phone. Some of the features that people are expecting to see in this new magic gadget from Apple are detachable battery, enhanced OLED screen, enhanced camera and even a better casing. But as they say rumors are not entirely true – you can expect to see the new iPhone 4G but sans some of the above features.
There are some news agencies and online portals that are claiming the new phone to come along with an enhanced camera. The last version of iPhone 3G has a 3-megapixel camera but the new version is being speculated to contain a 5-megapixel shooter. This is a definite move that we expect from Apple in order to be at par with Google’s Nexus One.
Even the rumor about the enhanced OS is doing the rounds and this too cannot be completely thrown into the trash bin. Now, an enhanced OS is the first requirement when Apple launches its iPhone 4G as all the upgraded hardware would need to be supported with an enhanced OS. The only thing that is troubling me is the launch date – Apple never ever launches iPhone’s in the month of May. It is generally the month of June or July that apple launches the new and enhanced iPhone. The change in Apple’s itinerary is being related with the release of the Nexus One Android smartphone.
Let us look at some of the features that we think would make a better iPhone if the rumors are not all smoke:
In terms of the hardware that we want to see in iPhone 4G, it would be a Dual-Core processor and 5-megapixel camera. Well, we are even not forgetting the Led Flash and the Magic Mouse type of a back. The software too needs to be commensurate with the hardware. iPhone OS 4.0 needs to be integrated into it so that we get the best of both the hardware as well as the software.
Though it is still unclear whether we are going to see the launch of the iPhone this month or not but one thing is for sure, tech geeks from all over the world have their own suggestions and expectations when it comes to iPhone 4G.

I’m really interested in the actual spec-sheet. I hope Apple finally gets decent hardware components, since the previous iPhones all had inferior hardware compared to it’s competitors…
Even if some of the hardware components fall shorts of our expectation, it should still generate decent sale. I am actually waiting to buy one

It has finally got multitasking and folders support.
it also has some kind of game center which is similar to ngage in Nokia mobiles but unfortunately nokia has discontinued Ngage.
yes it is very sad that nokia had discontinued ngage but they had no other option…. their N series smartphones were underpowered and could not run games in full graphics.
