Microsoft Corp introduced KIN, a newly released Windows phone that specifically designed for active social media individuals. In fact, KIN can be rightly termed as the vital social experience which blends online services, phone and PC with 3 advanced features called the Loop, the Spot, and the Studio.

The Loop

KIN’s home screen -  basically a collection of social content, feeds and statuses of your friends aggregated and updated live from multiple cloud services i.e. Facebook, Twitter and MySpace.

The Spot

The KIN spot forms an integral part of the platform. In simple words, it is like a cross between a “shelf” or rather an UI element which allows you to hold as well as assemble multiple items on a temporary basis before you move on. You can drag your favorite items that you want to share with your friends on the spot. Moreover, if you want to edit or remove items then all you need to do is open the spot and do the needful.

The Studio

A Microsoft cloud service that back up ALL contents in the phone and organizes it into a timeline. You can view and update the contents through KIN Studio website and all updates will be synced automatically to your KIN phone.
