How to Add Google Map to Your Website

Nowadays, a lot of websites opt to display Google Map as location map instead of the conventional way of “drawing” out the map. This is because Google Map not only show the location in a comprehensive manner, it even gives direction to users on how to get to your place.

3 simple steps to add Google Map into your website

Google Map

1. Search for a location

Go maps.google.com and enter the location you would like to add into your website.

2. Select map type

On top right corner of the map, select the type of map you want your users to view from your website (standard, satelite or hybrid).

3. Get the link

Click on the “Link” and a window will appear. Grab the HTML code to embed into your website. If you want to customize the size of the map, click the link “Customize and preview embedded map”. Paste the code into your website and you’re DONE!
