PlayStation has finally released their official iPhone/iPod app on App Store 11 January allowing users to check their PlayStation trophies, search for games, and keep up with friends’ activities. Users can also check out all the latest games, news and hardware released as well as stay up to date with “exciting” announcement from PlayStation.Blog.

Version 1.0 of the app is available in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Netherlands while their next version 1.1 is due for release in the next couple of months to the following countries: Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Portugal, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, Greece, South Africa, the Czech Republic, India and Turkey.
