Google gives you another reason to switch to its Chrome browser : SocialGmail. It is another exciting Google Chrome Extension that will show the avatar (or gravatar) of your friends to your Gmail inbox.

You can now set your Gmail to notify you whenever a new email or chat message arrives – for now, only Chrome support this new feature.

Now you can chat with your contacts in AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) account from Gmail. Google has just integrated AIM into GTalk. To sign into your AIM account, click the drop down menu under “Contacts” and select Sign into AIM.
